I started this piece is 2023 when I first moved out of New York. It sat as a a feature-less red head on a blue background with half a leaf. Until August 2025. It feels like a large doodle. I revisited this piece by starting with the eyes.
Moving was a lot, especially while also recovering from double jaw surgery. I was trying to find peace while being frustrated with where life had brought me. Trusting God and knowing all the destruction was just making way for blessing to rain down. And did!
No need to be heated, worried or stressed.
